Job Summary:

The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a crucial role in supporting the sales process by providing technical expertise and guidance to customers. This position requires a strong understanding of low-current systems (such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address), security systems, and networking technologies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Expertise:
  • In-depth knowledge of low-current systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of security systems (intrusion detection, video surveillance, etc.)
  • Expertise in networking technologies (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routing, switching, etc.)
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices
• Customer Engagement:
  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support
  • Gather customer requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Prepare technical proposals and presentations
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Sales Support:
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify and pursue sales opportunities
  • Provide technical support during the sales cycle
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and proposals
• Technical Documentation:
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, configurations, and user manuals
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role within the low-current, security, or networking industries
• Strong technical knowledge of low-current systems, security systems, and networking technologies
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant industry-specific software
• Valid driver's license
